Grace's Garden proudly presents The Acoustic Musicians Guild's compilation CD, "AMG Collection --Volume One"!
The AMG is a nonprofit organization comprised of musicians and music lovers, based in the central New Jersey area, dedicated to preserving and promoting acoustic music. This brand-new CD showcases some of the AMG's fine artists performing songs that range from the reflective to the humorous, from the sublime to the historic, from fine instrumentals to heartfelt stories about life. The selections are varied, but the one thread that ties them all together is the deep passion each artist feels for his or her craft. This is honest music, beautifully performed, that carries on age-old traditions, presented with all the intimacy of a cozy coffeehouse performance.
The song I've chosen to include in this very special collection is an original work, "Living On The Sea," which tells the story of a woman gone to sea disguised as a man in the great Age Of Sail, as discussed in our "By The Sea" page. I hope you enjoy the song as much as I enjoyed recording it.
